Who We Are
Hidden Valley Guardians is a grassroots neighborhood initiative started by residents who care about safety, connection, and transparency in our community. We’re not an HOA, we don’t collect dues, and no one here is wearing a suit and tie — just neighbors looking out for neighbors.
We created this site to fill the gap between city bureaucracy and those impersonal social media groups where serious issues get buried under memes and marketplace posts. Our goal is simple: share real-time updates, support practical safety efforts, and advocate for solutions that make life better in East Boca — from stronger cell signals to mailbox security, coyote awareness, storm prep, and more.
Whether you’re concerned about break-ins, wondering what that animal was near the canal, or just want to stay informed during hurricane season — this is your space.
Why “Guardians”?
Because we believe every neighborhood deserves people who keep an eye out. Cameras help. Communication helps more. We’re not vigilantes or alarmists — we’re informed residents who believe that being prepared and paying attention makes a difference.
What We Do
- Share timely alerts and resident tips on our blog
- Track issues like wildlife sightings, street flooding, and power outages
- Support cell tower improvements and better 911 access in our area
- Create a bulletin board for local concerns, rants, and updates
- Help neighbors stay connected and safe without relying on rumor or nextdoor drama
How You Can Get Involved
You don’t need to join or pay a dime. Just read, share, and speak up. If you have an update, concern, or idea — let us know. Use the bulletin board, leave a comment, or get in touch. The more we work together, the stronger our community becomes.
Publishing Principles
Hidden Valley Guardians exists to inform, empower, and connect residents of East Boca Raton’s Hidden Valley neighborhood. We are a volunteer-run community platform dedicated to transparency, public safety, environmental preservation, and civic engagement. We publish fact-checked updates, local insights, and resident-submitted concerns with the goal of building awareness and participation around the issues that matter most. We do not censor respectful dissent and we welcome constructive input from all voices in the community.
